Overview

The Bonanza is a fast six-seat piston aircraft with retractable landing gear. The original V-tailed Model 35 first flew in 1945, and the family has stayed in production ever since — longer than any other aircraft.

The current G36 has a conventional tail, a 300 hp engine and a modern glass cockpit. It is popular with private owners and businesspeople who fly themselves. Over 17,000 Bonanzas of all versions have been built.
