Overview
The A330 MRTT (Multi Role Tanker Transport) turns the A330-200 airliner into an aerial refuelling aircraft. It holds about 111 tonnes of fuel in its normal wing tanks, so its cabin stays free for up to 300 passengers or cargo.
It beat the Boeing KC-46 in most international competitions and serves with the RAF (as the Voyager), Australia, France, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, South Korea, Singapore and a shared NATO fleet. It can also be fitted out as a flying hospital.
