Overview
The Dhruv (Advanced Light Helicopter) was designed and built in India by HAL and serves with all three Indian armed services and the Coast Guard. The Mk III and Mk IV versions have a glass cockpit and the powerful Shakti engines, which help it work in the Himalayas.
It is flown by the Indian Air Force's Sarang display team, and versions have been supplied to neighbouring countries including Nepal, Mauritius and the Maldives.
