Overview
The MA60 ("Modern Ark 60") is a 56–60 seat twin-turboprop airliner built by Xi'an Aircraft. It is a modernised development of the Y-7, itself a Chinese version of the Soviet Antonov An-24, with Canadian Pratt & Whitney engines and Western avionics.
It was sold mainly to airlines and governments in Asia, Africa and the Pacific, often with Chinese financing. The Sri Lanka Air Force operates the MA60 for passenger and transport flights.
